Ladakh, it was only a lonely planet for me.Since i have been there, its beauty makes me crave for more. Its different landscapes ranging from barren sandy mountains to snow-laden peaks,free flowing rivers to sandy dunes of cold desert, you name it and you have it there. No better place to take the much awaited break from the hectic schedules.
Rest of my blog features some of the pictures of the beautiful landscapes and couple of monasteries i visited in ladakh.
Heavy snowfall this year ....keeps Ladakh still cut off from the rest of the country. Snow clearing operations are in effect but will still take nearly a month. We will have to wait before we can see our ladakhi friends again.
